Inspired by my favourite shoes I’ve done some Chuck Taylor inspired hunting and gathering for your enjoyment.
1. Shoefiti – This is such an iconic image. I love that it’s painted on an old book page. I think I’ll be adding this to my gift wish list for HUBBY.
2. Exercise Book Print – I purchased this print a while ago off Etsy. I love Andrea‘s work and I desperately wish more of it was available for purchasing. I have a stash of prints that I’m saving for the completion of our grand vision and this is one of them. I have the perfect spot for it picked out, if I could just get the rest of the vision happening. This size does not do the image justice, so if you can – click here for the bigger version! Even better, if you can spoil yourself and get your own copy to view up close and personal.
3. Recycled Scrabble Tile Pendant – There’s a few of these types of pendants available, but this is by far my favourite. Great quality image. Nice attention to detail on the Chucks. I would love to wear this.
4. Middle East Red Scarf – I found “Punk Your Chucks” via google. Despite a great concept, these were the only Chucks that I really fell for. The detail on them is brilliant and I love the scarf edging detail. I don’t think however they actually sell this pattern…
5. Converse T-shirt - Very cute and I like that you can pick your own colour combination. Would also work well with actual size shoes – one on the front and one on the back, like they were slung over one shoulder.
6. 124:365 – This is the image that inspired this little Chuck inspired madness. [Found via Kindness Over Matter.] Unfortunately I can’t see whether it’s available as a print or not. Guess I’ll just have to go and re-enact it with my own shoes and hang it on the fridge that way.
I thought I’d spice up my Saturday by finding six items that I love and sharing them with you. So here they are:

1. Gnome Magnet Greeting Card – I love most things gnome, and this little guy is just too cute. [Found via print & pattern]
2. School House Renovation – How gorgeous is this school house! The renovating couple paid US$30,000 for the house. They’ve done such an amazing job of renovating it into a weekend cottage. I love the use of bright vibrant colours combined with vintage finds and modern touches. Besides, you’ve got to love a house that has a gnome jug in it! [Found via Simply Seleta]
3. Red Lanterns – I adore the colour red, love it so much I got married in the colour, so I always love finding new and interesting ways of incorporating red into the house. I love the cluster of red paper lanterns. If we ever get around to finishing the pergola out the back I want to do something like this with the lighting. [Found via The Finer Things]
4. One Punk Posey – I adore these! They’re like little worlds that we get to view from above. I really love “Our First Dance” – it’s an intimate moment that we all get to be apart of. I’d love to buy one of these, but I’m not sure how they’d ship internationally. What I should do is make my own, now that would be a great weekend project! Something to think about…
5. Bold & Noble – I love prints. I have way too many probably already in the house, but I just can’t get enough of them. We have a two storey height stairwell wall and I’d love to one day have prints all the way from the floor to the ceiling. So imagine my joy when I found this print. It’s so lovely, and I have just the place I’d love to hang it. I’ll have to be really nice to HUBBY and ask for a rise in my allowance. *wink* The company also have their own blog, it’s so being added to my blogroll!
6. byGraziela – While we’ve been trying for kids I’ve been keeping an eye on kids related items. I adore this bed linen! Shame it doesn’t come in queen size or we’d be sleeping under little duckies! Lucky we have a beautiful little neice that will one day need some lovely bed linen. I’ll be certainly keeping my eye on this website!
