Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew-along Bingo Link Up Party

GnomeAngel-FB-FARMERS-WIFE-BINGO

Today we’re going to do something a little different and we’re going to play a little game I like to call Farmer’s Wife Bingo. Just like bingo I’m going to give you 5 Block Numbers and you’re going to have to post a photo to either the link up party here or to the appropriate folder in the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew-along Facebook Group¬†of your blocks that correspond to those numbers. Got it?

Here’s the 5 block’s and their numbers that you need to take a photo of to enter:

Farmer's Wife 1930's Sampler Quilt - Learn to make the blocks with Angie Wilson of GnomeAngel.com

Your photo needs to show: #1 Addie, #8 Aunt, #16 Bonnie, #24 Coral and #94 Susannah.

If you don’t want to play Bingo you’re more than welcome to link the blocks you’ve made this week as per normal, however these images will not go in the draw for the bingo prize.

Conditions of entry:

  • One entry per person.
  • Only one photo will be accepted so you must take a photo with the 5 blocks together, not put in 5 photos of individual blocks
  • Open internationally
  • May be more than one prize given.
  • Judges decision is final.
  • Competition closes Saturday 14 November 2015 at 11:55pm.

So fun! Really enjoying the whole shebang, thank you for all the work you’ve put into this. Every time I come to this page I get the song stuck in my head….

    And Bingo was his name-o.
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
    (clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-(clap)
And Bingo was his name-o. LOL!

I have been having fun with this quilt along, but dont understand why you make it so difficult to participate in the bingo challenge! i dont have a link, nor an url…why cant we just post our pics???

Hi Jamee – there’s a link to a tutorial in the post above that shows you how you can just share a photo without a link or url, it’s titled “how to add a photo from your computer”. I’ve also provided an alternative method of sharing your image in the Facebook group if the link party is too hard. Unfortunately I can’t accommodate everyone’s needs or skills and so I’ve had to come up with a way that meets the needs of the majority. Thanks for your understanding.

I’ve never played Bingo but it could be my new favorite game if you play it always with quilt blocks;-) Thanks for this fun game!
