FARMER’S WIFE 1930’S SAMPLER QUILT SEW-ALONG LINK UP PARTY

gnomeangel-farmers-wife-1930-sunday-link-party-week-3a

We’ve made 10 out of 99 of the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt blocks and that’s pretty cool. By now you’ll be starting to get a sense of how your quilt may look. I say may because there’s still 89 blocks to go and a lot can happen in 89 blocks! I don’t know about you, but I’m totally digging on seeing all the variations of the blocks and hearing the stories behind them and the people making them. There’s some really amazing things happening around the globe all in the name of Farmer’s Wives.

There’s been so many great blocks shown that I’ve really relished going through and savouring them all to try and find another 10 examples of blocks to share: 1. Addy Lou 2. @sewsewstoo 3. In the Boon Docks 4. @spetzie 5. jen-g-nj02 6. Sewn by Leanne 7. Ouvrages De Nat  8. Aunt Reen’s Place 9. 627 Handworks 10. Cat + Vee

I hope you’re enjoying the sew-along as much as I am and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on this week! It’s time for sew and tell!

I keep trying to upload my blocks but it appears they are too big. What do I need to do?

Hi Gloria, you can use a site like Picmonkey or Canva to resize your images for free. Let me know if you’re still having issues.

Thanks Angie, I did have a program to resize and have now posted all my blocks.
