Inspired by an image I saw on this post at The Dainty Squid I decided to do a Flickr Fave theme inspired by antlers. I was surprised by the amount of pictures out there that have ‘antler’ as a tag. I would never have thought of antlers as an appropriate decorating item, but I may just be convinced otherwise.

1. Reindeer antlers, 2. Elk Antlers & Ristras: Martinez Hacienda: Taos, New Mexico (NM), 3. Cast Red Deer Stag Antler., 4. with goat antlers

Fantastic photos! I am not surprised they could be used for decoration, they look so beautiful. My 3 year old nephew insists they are fish and not antlers! He was looking at the third photo, I guess I see it too!

cool pics!
LOL I tried to post that above and I was told that my “post was too short, go back and try again”… LMAO! is there a word limit/requirement??
OK…. I will try again… The pictures you have selected for this fantastic mosaic, are very interesting, indeed. The contrast of the blue in the background and the lighter colour of the antlers, is very well achieved.
Applause to the photographers, and ovation to you for such magnificent choices.
Is that long enough?

Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry! I didn’t know there was a word limit, and I’m buggered if I can figure out how to change it. I’m sorry.
I do really like your extended version – it made me laugh! Thank you!
