It’s a week before the Little Man and I go on a much needed adventure to tropical North Queensland. I can’t wait to get out of winter and hit the tropics. I’ve been frantically sewing in the past couple of weeks while I try to get things sorted before we leave so I can have a stress free break from everything. I’m so happy to have some major projects off my plate so I can concentrate on the next thing. Speaking of, are you ready for #100Days100Blocks2017? I’m totally not and it’s starting to freak me out.
We spent our Easter Weekend making a volcano, painting a dinosaur backdrop and making memories. The Little Man has become addicted to watching home made movies on YouTube of people having fun with their dinosaur toys and he just came out with the fact that he’d like to make his own movies. So, being the obliging parents we are we’ve been helping him get his set ready so he can film his own movies. It’s hilarious. He had this big list of things that we had to include and was very determined about what direction things would take. Who knows, he might be the next Steven Spielberg. In the meantime HUBBY and I are enjoying the challenges of coming up with ways to make things to his specifications.
It’s still a long weekend here in Canberra so I’m going to sign off and sneak back into bed. I wish you a super fabulous week filled with love, laughter and fabric fondling!
