i carry your heart with me
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bug
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

He’s one of my favourites, too. Who’s your 1st favourite?

W.B Yeats – I’ve posted my favourite.
We included the Yeats poem in our wedding ceremony.
But Cummings is a very close second.

I gasped aloud when I read the first line…he’s probably my #1 favorite.
This only serves to remind me that I don’t read enough poetry these days. Although I do try to see it through my camera lens.

I know – poetry is such a strong thing, but we don’t really read enough of it. Maybe I should post a poem a week.
Do you have a photoblog anywhere?

I have a bunch of photos posted on my Facebook account, but I am currently researching photoblogs and/or just a photo site…not sure of all the options just yet!
