One of my most favourite things to do is host sew-alongs and other online events. It’s a great way to connect with others who share your passion for creativity all from the comfort of home (and without having to get out of your pyjamas!).

There’s always new and exciting things happening around here so why not subscribe to my email newsletter so you’ll never miss a thing. Click here to subscribe.

If you’re a business or brand looking to increase your community involvement I’d love to hear from you about ways we can work together. Click here to send me an email.

#100Days100Blocks

#100Days100Blocks was an Instagram based sew-along where I encouraged people to sew all 100 blocks from Tula Pink’s City Sampler and post them for 100 days consecutively on Instagram. The prize pool for this event exceeded AU$2,500. There were over 57,000 posts made to the #100Days100Blocks hashtag over the life of the event. It was so successful that the event will be run again in 2017 kicking off on May 7.

Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew-along

This sew-along kicked off in August 2015 and aims to encourage and support people to make all 99 blocks of the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt by Laurie Aaron Hird. Partnering with Marti Michelle to provide people with alternative ways to make the blocks using Marti’s templates was key to the success of this sew-along. Fat Quarter Shop provided prizes and curated fabric bundles for participants to purchase to help make fabric selection easier.
