Last night Alivicwil and I had the immense pleasure of attending an Exclusive Project Runway Catwalk Show.  The show was being filmed to be included within the current season, and it was AMAZING!  Alivicwil and I were lucky enough to be granted a “leave of absence” from our respective employers¹, so we flew to Melbourne yesterday afternoon.

To say we’ve been excited about this little trip was a bit of an understatement.  I, who never wear a frock, even went out and purchased new party threads and some much fabled Napoleon Perdis makeup.  (Neither did any good in covering the fact that’s I’m not Heidi Klum!) In the end though I’m glad I frocked up.  We ended up rubbing shoulders with some of Australia’s great artists, celebrities and personalities.  The highlights for us; Julia Zemiro, Joh Bailey, Matthew Newton, Matt Shirvington and Jodhi Meares.   We had some funny moments through out the night, and once I’ve had a chance to get some much needed sleep I’ll be sure to put fingers to keyboard.

More importantly I’d love to tell you all about how absolutely marvelous the frocks were in gross detail, but alas I don’t want to spoil the rest of the season for those that watch Project Runway.  Needless to say that when the final airs I will have a lot to talk about!  Instead, you’re going to have to content yourselves with keeping up with the tweet & critique that Alivicwil and I provide on Wednesday nights between 8:30pm (AEST) and 9:30pm (AEST).

As an added bonus tonight I will be tweeting on behalf of Project Runway at @ProjectRunwayOZ.   It’s a huge honour and I’m very thankful and grateful for the opportunity!  So tune in – you never know… you might just win your own slice of Project Runway goodness!
