SEA BREEZE MINI QUILT-A-LONG REVEAL

Sea Breeze Mini Quilt Top made by GnomeAngel.com

It’s the last day of the Sea Breeze Mini Quilt-a-Long and I’m kind of sad to see it end. I’ve really enjoyed seeing all the different versions of the mini’s that have been created. I’ve been amazed, impressed, awed and wowed by how everyone has given this quilt their own spin and really shown how versatile the pattern is.

My Sea Breeze Mini Quilt is currently laying on my sewing room floor, partially quilted, while I frantically try and get my entry for Sewvivor sorted out. I’m really loving it and I’m trying to decide whether to keep it all for myself or gift it to someone I love.

[pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]I want to say a massive thank you to the fabulous bloggers and instagrammers that donated their time, their accounts, their blogs, their expertise to participate in my first ever quilt-a-long. You’re all really talented and amazing and it’s been an absolute privilege to have your support and participation. Thank you![/pullquote]

I really had fun playing with this and used Kona Cotton and Dear Stella Confetti Dot Sparkle to create a really simple version of the pattern – but I think it works.

I’m currently straight line quilting it and will reveal all when it’s done. (And we get some sunny weather so I can actually get a half way decent photo of it – bring on Spring I say!)

But enough about what I’ve done, this is about what you’ve done and a chance to get out there and show people where you’re at with the Sea Breeze Mini Quilt.

All you have to do is link a photo of your Sea Breeze Mini and then get people to vote for it. The Top 3 Sea Breeze Mini Quilt’s as voted by the public will receive a digital pattern from Canoe Ridge Creations of their choosing and a mystery fabric bundle from me. Simple.

Thanks for the fun quilt a long. I enjoyed the posts that went along with it. While my little quilt isn’t finished yet, it will be…once summer vacations are over. 🙂

This was my first quilt-along.I had a great time. I wasn’t doing as much sewing as I had been for the last few months. This was the push I needed to get back to it and the pile of other projects I have on the go. Thanks so much.
