Aren’t these book covers amazing? Penguin Classics has teamed up with Aids Awareness Fun (Red) to produce eight new covers for a sample of their penguin classic books. I would love a set of these books, not only to red but to lovingly gaze at.
I’d also love posters of these covers, they’d make such a powerful statement hanging on the wall. Once again Penguin has proved why they’re a literary powerhouse.

I love these covers. I never knew I wanted to read Dracula until I received it for free as part of the B&N eReader for iPhone. And now this cover has sealed the deal. Also, the Facebook version of House of Mirth in Maidens Who Don’t Float made me want to read it — but the cover, again, seals the deal. I think I need to take a break from my American Presidents campaign and read some classics. :) Thanks for this post!

I know what you mean. I was toying with buying Dracula earlier in the week and passed it up, but now I see these I WANT.
In fact I plan to buy these four books if I can just find somewhere in Australia that is selling them.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment, love it!

I know! I would have thought being in the publishing industry you would have seen these already… I’m hoping they’ll be available at Borders because I want them! Bad!!!!

Nah, haven’t seen them… I hope I can get my hands on one. Even though I’d probably never read it!

I’m slowly working my way through a stack of penguin classics. They’re hard going compared to the modern pulp fiction I normally read, but it’s good to be challenged.
