Link Love: Half Way to the Party
Well last week was just full of little mistakes that I’ve not made in a long time. Seems a month off from computer based work and my brain just turns to mush. This week however I’m determined to break the cycle of “whoops”.
I sewed for myself on the weekend and whipped up 2 dresses. (You can see me wearing one by clicking here.) It felt so good to make something that I could finish quickly and then use straight away. I’ve been hoarding fabrics for the past few years to use for dresses and this year I’m determined to actually sew them. 2 down, 7 to go. *wink*
I’ve also taken control of my health a bit more. I’ve started the 5:2 eating plan and it’s been great! I’m feeling so much better and it suits my natural eating habits (I’m not a breakfast person). I’m seeing a dietitian and this week I’m off for my annual skin check (if you don’t get your skin checked regularly you should!). Life post-hysterectomy is so good… while I’m grateful to my uterus for giving me our son, I’m so glad we’ve parted company.
This week is chock full of appointments and must-do’s so I’d better get off the computer and get the kid off to school! Wishing you a week filled with love, laughter and much fabric fondling!

We’ve been blown away by the response to our first quilting retreat: Camp Sewcial. If you’re thinking about coming don’t wait to secure your spot. We’d hate for you to miss out! Find out more by clicking here.
If you’d like to book a ticket, but the payment plan options don’t work for you simply reply to this email and let me know and we’ll see if we can work out a personalised payment plan for you.
If you’re looking for another incentive to book, both Raylee and I are heading to Fall Quilt Market this year and that means we’ll be bringing back lots of yet-to-be-released fabric bundles for campers to see, fondle and win! We’ll also be picking up some exclusive inclusion to the campers welcome bags from some of our favourite designers, businesses and creatives!
