Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew-along Link Up Party

gnomeangel-fw-week1It’s the end of week 2 and we’ve had to great blocks this week with Betty and Caroline. I know that triangles can be a little tricky but it was great to see everyone really embrace the blocks and get in there and have a go at making these blocks their own.ย Last week we had 114 people link up and share their amazing blocks and so I thought I’d share some of them with you this week in case you missed them.

If you love them as much as I do you can find their creative owners in the following places:ย 1.ย Faith and Fabricย 2. The Green Apricotย 3. Quilty Stitches 4. @GotchaCoveredQuiltingย 5. Knotty Needleย 6. Hildy in Loveย 7. Biscuitย 8. @Janithomย 9. @SewnbyLeanneย 10. Sew Filomena

I’m really digging the different approaches to fabric selection and I have to admit I have a soft spot for the fussy cutters amongst us. I’m also really loving seeing all the blocks made from the fabrics in my bundle. We’re all working from the same fabrics but they’re so varied and beautiful (and I must confess to wishing I’d made the same selections in a number of cases).

So now’s your chance to share your blocks with us, because you just know we all love a good sew and tell…ย

  1. Oh, wow! Thanks so much for including me in the top 10- I saw the email, but for some reason it didn’t occur to me that it would be here, too! How fun! Thanks again! (That was a lot of exclamation points- I guess I’m kinda excited…)

Hoping everyone is having as much fun as I am with this project!
