Monday is here and I’m not ready…

I’m running behind today, which is becoming a bit too regular for my liking at the moment. June was such a full on month and I’ve done so much in the past couple of months that the wheels have just come off the wagon and I’m struggling to get them back on. I’m not sure why or how it’s happened but I’m scrambling to get things back on track. All I can do is take one day at a time and be conscious of the choices I’m making.
I’ve decided to do the 30 Day Challenge again as part of the Miracle Morning and I’m hoping to share that journey with you. If you’re looking to make a change in your own life and you’re not sure where to start why not click this link and check out my 30 Day Challenge group. I’ve set up a mailing list which will send you an email a day to help you start and stick to your very own 30 Day Challenge. I’ve also started a Facebook Group for people to join who want to reach out and connect with others that are making changes and following their dreams. You can click here to join.
I’m still battling this winter cold and so is our little man. I’m not sure what it’s going to take for us to kick it, but until it’s gone we’re on a little bit of a lock down as the little man can’t attend daycare. Just because we’re not 100% doesn’t mean we can’t still do things and so I’m enjoying spending time playing, baking and just hanging out with him. I’m never going to get this time again so I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can.ย
I’ve got to finish my 2 quilts for the Canberra Quilters Exhibition this week as they’re due for submission on Saturday. I’m really looking forward to the Exhibition (I do every year) because I love seeing what others have worked on over the past 12 months and I love seeing people so excited about their work. I’m looking forward to spending a couple of evenings this week just hand stitching binding down. I think I might be one of a small group of people who actually enjoy the whole hand stitching process – it’s like you get to a pre-quilt snuggle under your quilt before it’s finished. Plus it allows me to watch television without feeling guilty because I should be doing something else.
So, what have you got planned for this week?

COMMUNITY CORK BOARD
- Rachel (of Stitched in Color)ย and her beautiful daughter, Eleni,ย have a long road ahead filled with many trials. Eleni was born with cerebral palsy and needs early intervention treatments to try and give her a quality of life most of us take for granted. If you canย spare a small amount to donate to this life changing cause please click here, every dollar you can contribute will change one families life.
- Looking for a good cause to support,ย Caroline (of Nightingale Quilts) is in need of help to raise some money to build a bat enclosure to help rehabilitate bats. Now, Iโm not a fan of bats in the sense that movies always make it look horrible to get caught in a bat swarm, but I am a fan of keeping our environment in tip top condition and bats are important so Iโm all for helping toย heal them and return them to doing what bats do.ย Click here to find out more and donate the cost of a coffee.
Want something included on theย Community Cork Board, then why not drop me an email and if itโs applicable to the GnomeAngel community Iโll share it. It can be anything from a local fate, a charity raffle, a class youโre teaching, a pattern youโve released, a sew-a-long youโre involved in to a community event thatโs happening. Be sure to send me as much detail as you can and links to any applicable websites. ย Click here to email me.

Hi! I’m just hanging out on your blog taking some down time for me and checking out all the posts I’ve missed. Thank you so much for linking to my high chair cover tutorial. XO ๐ I hope you guys are finally over the awful cold.
I love how our picture is surrounded by pretty and colourful things! I am not very good at timed challenges and what not. But our meet on Saturday gave me a boost of motivation and that’s how I got up the festival post so quickly. Thanks Angie!
