Link Love: It’s all happening
It’s a big Link Love post this week so I’ll keep things short and sweet. There’s a lot happening here, but slowly. I’ve been sewing for the new sew-along and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve made. I’ve also started planning and sewing for our upcoming trip (less than 60 sleeps now until we go!). I’m going to step outside my comfort zone and have a go at sewing a men’s button up shirt. I thought I’d make some custom shirts for the boys to wear while we’re away. I’m also getting ready to release a new quilt pattern. I’ll have more details about that in the next Link Love.
With all that’s happening I’d better get off the computer and get to work! Wishing you a week filled with love, laughter and much fabric fondling!
My Father and I have decided to go into business together and produce wooden art for your home and sewing space. We’ve been working on getting our look and feel right and we’d love to know your thoughts.
Which do you prefer A or B?
Both signs measure 4.5″ (H) x 9″ (W) and are made with sustainably harvested Australian timbers. Signs come with hanging hole on the back. Rainbow Maker (A) is a painted sign where as Finished is better then Perfect (B) is carved and painted. These signs would retail for AUD$45 (incl. GST) and fit in a 500g Australia Post satchel (postage of AUD$8.55). Signs can be posted overseas with an approximate shipping cost of AUD$25. (Shipping quotes can be provide prior to ordering and any overages will be refunded upon shipping.)
Signs will be made available to order for a limited time and then made to order. Our first batch of signs will be ready for ordering in time for Christmas 2019.

My good friend, Sam Hunter of Hunter’s Design Studio, released the Colorblock LOVE Quilt Pattern a couple of months ago. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make one! During the making of my version I released that the blocks from Kinship: 100 Block Fusion Sampler worked perfectly as substitutes for the letters in the pattern and an idea was hatched: The Colorblock LOVE + Kinship Sew-along!
