Free Quilt Pattern & Tutorial for the Dolly Madison’s Star Patchwork Block
Dolly Madison’s Star is a variation on the Ohio Star patchwork block and I love it. It combines 2 of my favourite units; 9 patch and quarter square triangles (otherwise known as Hourglass). I love the possibilities in this block, not only for the fussy cutting but also for the fun you can have with directional prints.
I loved this block so much I had to make 2 versions of it. Which one do you like better?
