DECEMBER’S WHERE IT’S AT
I am seriously stunned that it’s December. I probably say this every year but the time just seems to have flown. I feel like we’ve not done anything this year, but in some ways we’ve done some really big things. This month promises to hold some even bigger events which is really exciting.
Withan*E | Stuck for Christmas gift ideas, or maybe you’re just looking for something to splurge on for yourself, then this is the month to check us out. Tamara and I have been putting together some great finds. In fact I suspect that some of those on my Christmas list will be getting some presents via Withan*E.
Creative Collective | December sees us hosting a Bloganza! We’re sharing creative inspiration from some of the greatest crafty minxes out there. I’m so excited to see what surprises are in store.
Melbourne Adventure | This month we’re heading to Melbourne to see Kathy Griffin. I’m not sure what to expect but I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to wear some sort of adult diaper because I’ll be wetting my pants with laughter. Melbourne also means an opportunity to catch up with HUBBY’s family. It’s going to be great to see our nieces and see how big they’re getting and how amazing they are. It’s also going to be an awesome chance to do some much needed shopping. We’re staying back at The Blackman which I am so looking forward to. We’ve already made a plan to work out what beds they use so we can get one in our house. (Best.nights.sleep.ever!)
Christmas | I’m not sure whether you know this or not, but this month is Christmas. I know! I was surprised too! We’d originally planned to be in Vietnam with my folks living the life fantastic, however Junior Gnome kind of changed those plans for us. So we’ll be in the sunny National Capital for the big day. I’m torn between making some traditional Christmas day feast at home or trying to book in for lunch at a restaurant somewhere. I’m guessing the longer we leave it to make a decision the more chance that we’ll be staying in.
All-in-all it’s going to be an interesting month – can’t wait!

SERIOUSLY jealous you are going to see Kathy Griffin! I was so disappointed to hear she wouldn’t be coming to Brisbane 🙁 Can’t wait to hear all about it!
… and I can’t believe it’s December either O_o Where did 2011 go?
She was good, just like she was/is on her show. I’d love to say she wowed with new material, but it did feel just like her show. It was a good night out though. (We went to the late show and I was afraid I was going to fall asleep during it!)
I know! And now there’s only TWO weekends till Christmas! TWO!
