DILLY BAG-A-LONG STARTING SOON

It’s time for another group project and this month, as part of The Fussy Cutters Club, I’m hosting the Dilly Bag-a-Long.
The #dillybagalong (that’s the hashtag for those of you that want to see more on instagram) will be using Judy Newman’s Dilly Bag Pattern (If you would like to purchase Judy Newman’s pattern for the Dilly Bag you can do so by clicking here.).
The Dilly Bag-a-Long will run from 22 September to 17 October.
I’ve got some fabulous bloggers on board to keep you motivated, encouraged and inspired. They’re also going to be sharing their tips, tricks and tutorials on how they approached making the Dilly Bag.
It’s a great project for those of you that are yet to fall in love with the amazingness that is hexagons. The pattern is for hand stitching the hexagons together, but there’s other ways to do it (I’m using English paper piecing) including machine sewing them. You’ll just have to stick around and see what tips and tricks we all share.
It’s also fabulous for busting through those scraps you’ve been hording. Not to mention that there’s only 5 sleeps till Christmas so it’s a perfect time to get making on those handmade Christmas projects! (Ok, there might be just a touch more than five but I swear it’ll go by as if it’s only five!)
At the end of the bag-a-long I’ll be posting a link party and if you link up you’ll go in the running to win a prize from the fabulous Judy Newman or Sarah Fielke’s book Little Quilts or a mystery fabric bundle from my stash.
So, who’s with me?

Hi Angie I found out about the dilly bag along through the Fussy Cutters FB page. I have purchased the pattern. I do not have a blog so how can I join the fun, Thanks Marie
Hi Marie, So glad you’re joining us. You don’t need a blog to participate, you can follow and share via the Facebook Group or via Instagram – or both. Let me know if you have any issues sharing and I’ll do my best to help sort it out. 🙂
Thanks Angie, I will follow via FB, I can post on there my progress. I am hoping this will motivate me to get going, I have stalled and have not done any sewing for a couple of months.
Would luv to join in, downloaded pattern, but copy & paste button will not work! have a blog that hasn’t been used for years as I find it difficult
Hi Annette – would you like me to email you the code that you can paste into your blog?
I’m in!
Woohoo!
