FQS Remix: Milk Cow Kitchen Towel

Fat Quarter Shop‘s Milk Cow Kitchen Towel makes such a fun and quick project for those looking to inject some colour and personality into their kitchens. In a house that contains an active 6.5yo we do a lot of hand washing and the ability to be able to hang a hand towel where it’s easily accessible is one of those things I never thought I’d have to think about, but here I am.

In a funny twist of fate my Mum asked me to make her some hanging towels for Christmas and so I’ve got experience making these. I found this tutorial a lot easier then the tutorial I originally used to make the first round of hanging towels.

I managed to prepare the supplies, cut and make 6 towels in under an hour. It was brilliant. I’m now adding this to my routine for Mother’s Day Stall sewing and School Fete sewing. They’re quick, cheap and so practical. They’d even make a great gift for kid’s going to college or moving out.
