Little Ruby Quilt Along with Fat Quarter Shop – Star Blocks

LR-Part2-HeaderFat Quarter Shop’s Little Ruby Quilt-along has moved on to making the Star Blocks this week. The blocks look really complicated but they’re so easy to put together it’s like a magic trick. The hardest thing is sitting still while you sew together 54 pairs of jelly roll strips. (I recommend binge watching some of The West Wing while doing it!)

The Creative Grids 60ยฐ Strip Rulerย makes it so easy to cut the pieces you need and they fit together like a dream. I’m only going to show you a couple of the blocks I’ve made because I don’t want to ruin the surprise of the big reveal. All the details, including another fabulous video tutorial from Fat Quarter Shop, are below so you too can make your own amazing version of this quilt.
