HOW TO MAKE A PATCHWORK KEY FOB
Using your fabric stash make your patchwork fabric piece.
You can use the template to check your fussy cutting placement.
To make the strip patchwork that I used I cut pieces at 2″ x 5″ – I made them this size because the gnome was 1.5″ tall and I wanted to make him a feature.
I cut 7 different pieces of fabric that measured 2″ x 5″ and then joined them along the 5″ side to form one fabric piece.
I pressed the seams open to reduce bulk when quilting and make it lay flat.
This piece was taller than the 10″ required for this pattern so once I had all the pieces joined I just trimmed the piece to be 5″ x 10″.
