MEET THE NIGHT QUILTER

A Bit of Fun
If you could only have one or the other for the rest of eternity what would you choose?
1. Fabric: Solid or Pattern? Solid. Although if tone-on-tone blenders are prints, technically, maybe I’d have to go with pattern? No, I love solids.
2. Quilt Styles: Pattern or Improv? Pattern. My brain can’t do improv (yet)
3. Seams: Open or to the Side? Open.
4. Stitching: Hand or Machine? Machine.
5. Binding: Hand or Machine? Hand. Hand stitching binding *might* be my favourite part!
6. Food: Sweet or Savoury? Sweet. All of my teeth are sweet teeth.
7. Entertainment: Books or Music? This is a tough one. I love both, but my hearing is progressively getting worse each year and since there’s a chance I could be completely deaf one day and not be able to enjoy music, I’m not sure if I should choose music ! or books since I know (hope) I will always be able to get lost in a book. Okay. Books!
8. Entertainment: Television or Movies? Movies. I don’t want TV anyway.
9. Computer: Mac or Windows? Windows.
10. Drink: Coke or Pepsi? No, thank you. Water for me! (or wine when I’m not pregnant!)

Thank you so much, Angie! It was very fun to answer your questions and really think about my quilting roots. I kind of tend to fly by the seat of my pants (I think having two little ones running around does that to you), so it was great to sit back and reflect on different aspects of what I’m doing and why. I’m so grateful to have found your blog, since you are one of my constant streams of inspiration and support! Quilting is indeed a social habit, Kirsty, and the sharing part is so essential to the creative process! Happy quilting, all!
Late night quilting is the best!
Great idea to start a Facebook group- quilting is such a social habit, we all seem to like a natter whether in person or electronically. I seem to get a lot more done when I’m interacting with others, even though you’d think it would be the opposite. There’s something so motivating about sharing. Best of luck with whatever ‘big step’ you decide on next!
