TOP 5 SAVOURY RECIPES OF 2014

This year seemed to be all about making meals that I had cravings for after trying them outside of our home. I’ve collated the top 5 savoury recipes for 2014 so you can whip something yum up while you’re on holidays.Β

1. Shallot PancakesΒ – my all time favourite recipe find for 2014. I’m hoping Santa will bring me a tortilla press so I don’t have to roll them out any more.
2. Creamy Garlic PrawnsΒ – I’m drooling just thinking of these and I’m looking forward to having my Dad make them while we’re visiting at Christmas time (hint! hint!).
3. Gnome’s Healthy MeatloafΒ – a great way of sneaking some more vegetables into the kids (and your) diet.

4. Slow Cooker Chicken & ChorizoΒ – Hubby loves chorizo so this was a huge hit. It’ll be back on the menu come winter.
5. Lentil & Chickpea PattiesΒ – these make a great sandwich filling or as a meal all on their own (with a salad). Great for summer.
One of my New Year Resolutions is going to be about eating better (aren’t they always!) and so I’m looking forward to adding some new recipes to our rotation. Do you have any favourites you’d like to share with me? (Hint! Hint!)
