Another group of 10 blocks down in the #100Days100Blocks2018 event. It’s been so thrilling and inspiring to see the blocks being made. People are really starting to hit their strides and relax into the routine of making and sharing. It’s brilliant. I’m getting such a kick out of seeing the blocks and meeting new people. Thank you to everyone that’s participating – you’re rocking my world!
Every 5 days after a segment of blocks finishes I’ll be announcing the winners for that section. (Have you printed out the free event tracker so you know when the prizes will be announced? Click here to download.) I really wish I could give everyone a prize for participating. The entries are amazing and the quilts being made are each unique and a reflection of the person making them. Winners details are below and so is a round up of my next ten blocks for this years event.
Sponsor: Pink Door Fabrics
Pink Door Fabrics was started in 2011 out of a love for bright, modern fabrics. With a background in interior design and marketing, it’s become the perfect marriage to nurture both my right and left brain! I grew up watching my mom sew, and taught myself to quilt in my 20’s using fabrics by Amy Butler and some of Tula Pink’s first lines. I wish I’d held onto more of that fabric! While I love quilts, I also love making bags and admittedly start way more projects than I actually finish. There just need to be a few more hours in the day to be creative! I’m as obsessed with texture and fabric as you are (yes, I hoard fabric, too!) and I hope that our custom-curated selection provides the perfect palette for your next quilting or sewing project. We tend towards the more modern in terms of aesthetic here at Pink Door, and love to put together custom quilt and bag kits that take the guess work out of choosing fabrics online. We ship worldwide, and love seeing where our pretty packages are traveling! Thanks for helping make a girl’s fabric dreams come true! We appreciate your business so much.
Prize: Pink Door Fabrics has kindly donated a $150 Gift Certificate.
Please note: The prize is open internationally. Winner is responsible for own shipping, insurance and custom charges where applicable.
Prize allocated: This prize will be allocated during the event to one person who has completed and posted blocks 11 – 20.
Please note: Unclaimed prizes may be allocated to another winner at the discretion of the event host. Please do not contact the sponsor directly to claim your prize, doing so will void your winning. Please do not DM on Instagram to claim your prize as I may miss it and you will miss out. For more information about prize allocation please click here.
My #100Days100Blocks2018 Blocks
This grouping of blocks includes my most disliked from the book; Block 17. Those thin little strips of fabric always make me question my sanity and my skill set. The good thing about it though, it’s done now and I can move on to another group of ten blocks and put it behind me. Yay!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my blocks in one spot. If you’d like to see some even more amazing blocks be sure to check out the hashtag #100Days100Blocks2018 and leave some comments on people’s blocks. You never know, your thoughtful, encouraging and uplifting comment could just be the thing that helps someone fall in love with sewing and quilting.
