A BLOG HOP WITH A DIFFERENCE

How does my creative process work?

Who knows… seriously, it’s still a mystery to me. I think it works something like this:

See something inspiring.

Think about that thing and file it away for later.

Get inspired enough to commit the time, money and energy to making it.

Enjoy the roller-coaster ride of creating something.

Marvel at the end product, see what lessons I can learn from it and move on to the next adventure.

  2. I agree wholeheartedly with your inspiration answer.

I think you should never be afraid to admit that the current fashion isn’t your thing, but if it is, tell people how you were inspired by it.

Thanks for choosing me. I will try to do you proud!

    1. I agree – I’m all for giving credit where credit is due for inspiring someone.

Nothing bugs me more then when people pass something off as their original thought/concept – there’s nothing new under the sun and you shouldn’t be afraid to give props to the person/people who helped inspire you. IMHO it smacks of insecurity if you can’t thank someone for inspiring you. /rant

  3. Love the idea of ‘idea noise’ and blazing your own trail. Thanks for the tag, will get on it for next week. Keep creating, you make cool stuff – must be one of the ‘cool kids’

    1. Ha! I wish. (Actually I don’t really – just want to do what I do and hopefully encourage someone else to get out there and blaze their own trail.)

Looking forward to reading your answers. ๐Ÿ™‚
