CRAFTY | ALL CAUGHT UP

For the past month I have been trying to build on the momentum of having completed March by trying to get caught up on all the months that I still have outstanding on my Woodland Sampler.

The weather in Canberra was really bleak for a week or so there – all it seemed to do was rain and get really cold. So I took the opportunity afforded to me of not being able to do any laundry or leave the house and work on my sampler.

I stitched while watching “Call the Midwife”

I stitched while watching “George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces”.

I stitched while watching “Antiques Roadshow”.

And lo and behold April was done.

So I stitched while watching “River Cottage”.

I stitched while watching “Project Runway; Allstars”

I stitched while watching “The West Wing”.

And lo and behold May was done.

So I stitched while the Little Man slept (and he used me as a foot rest).

I stitched while the boys completed the evening ritual of bath time.

And lo and behold June was done.

I stitched while the boys watched the AFL together.

And lo and behold July was done.

I’m so excited to have finally caught up.  It’s like a weight has been lifted and I no longer feel like I’m avoiding my Woodland Sampler because I hate seeing it so far behind.  Now I can’t wait to see what August brings.
