LIEBSTER AWARD 2014

Questions from Claudia Owen at Claudia Owen
1. If money wasn’t an issue what would your dream career be?
I’d own a fabric store.
2. Name 3 things that are on your bucket list
Travel to New York, ride the teacup ride at Disneyland and see the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan.
3. Share a happy childhood memory
I used to love building cubby houses in the backyard with my brother and my friends. Hours of fun making our own house.
4. When you picture yourself living your dream life, what do you see?
My family and lots and lots of fabric.
5. What are you working on right now that has got you all excited?
My small business. It’s really invigorating to have a goal and chase that goal down.
6. Share something unique/weird about you
I’m a hermit. Seriously, if I could live in my house with just my family and working connection to the internet I would live a long and happy life. I’m a social recluse.
7. Name one person that you admire and why?
My parents. Sappy I know, but they are two of the best imperfectly perfect people I know. They taught me that I could do anything I wanted as long as I worked my arse off to get it and that’s a lesson that’s seen me do great things. They didn’t just tell me this, they show me it in everything they do.

8. What was your favorite toy as a child?
Does the television count? My Dad made us a billy cart once, that was a pretty awesome toy.
9. Name one technique or strategy that is working well for your blog right now
Working with others. There’s strength in numbers and I’m a strong believer that life is better when you’re working with people that share a similar passion to you. Besides, it’s great to make friends with people who understand how nuts you are to want to be a blogger.
10. Name one app or tool that you can’t live without. (For example: Evernote, Wunderlist)
Instagram. Hands down, cannot live without it. It’s where all the cool people live.

3 Liebster award nominations and you answered all of our questions! Thank you for taking the time and it’s great to know a little more about you ☺
Wow Angie! You have so many nominations! Loved reading your answers and I’m going to google Edgar’s Inn right now! I too never thought I would visit NYC as it was on the last spot on my wish list but I’m glad I did go cause it was a unique experience especially with how blatantly obvious the demeanour of people in NY are as compared to those just across the Hudson.
I’m so psyched you put me down at #8 because that’s totally my lucky number, must be a sign, right? It was so nice reading through your answers and getting to know a bit more about you. Thank you for the tag!
Ah love fart jokes. You can take the girl out of Queensland… 🙂
