Link Love: Best Laid Plans

The niggling little cough that I came back from the tropics with turned nasty a fortnight ago and in the words of my GP I had “pre-pneumonia”. If I had’ve left it unchecked she said it would could have easily turned into pneumonia and so I had to take time off, lay in bed and let my body do it’s thing.

We’re just over a month out from #100Days100Blocks2019 and the last thing I wanted to be doing was nothing. I struggle at the best of times, but when there’s a massive to-do list it’s even harder. But the thought of pneumonia really freaked me out and so I did what she said.

The good news is that my chest cough seems to be slowly leaving the building, which is fabulous. I also had some help from some lovely friends to keep the business ticking over while I wasn’t at full capacity. I’m very thankful to God for the access to medicines, doctors and lovely people that make convalescing not-as-boring-as-it-could-be.

This week I’m sewing all the blocks. I have a couple of versions of Kinship: 100 Block Fusion Sampler that I need to get finished as well as preparing for next month’s Miss Lizzy Block. It’s all systems go here, so I’d best actually go and do something! Wishing you a week filled with love, laughter and much fabric fondling!
