MEET SAMELIA’S MUM
8. What quilting challenges would you like to conquer in the next 12 months.
One of my current challenges is the lack of โmeโsewing time. Iโd love to make more of an effort to spend time creating things for me, rather than to suit a brief.

9. Whatโs your 3 favourite quilts that youโve made that reflect who you are as a quilter?
I love my Sugar Stars Quilt which appeared on the cover of the first issue of Love Sewing Australia. I made it with my favourite fabric, Flower Sugar by Lecien. I had plans to put this one on the spare room bed, but it was sold and never came back home.
Citrus Burst was made with the wedge ruler, which is one of my all-time favourite tools. Itโs fresh, fun and makes me happy.
The Wish Quilt is my other favourite quilt. Itโs a pattern by Bronwyn Hayes and itโs the first big quilt I made. It took months of work โ especially all of the hand embroidery blocks. It comes out of storage every Christmas and hangs on my wall for the monthโฆ which reminds me, Christmas is only 2 months away. ARGH!
10. If you werenโt a quilter, what other creative endeavour would you like to master?
Iโd love to learn how to crochet. I see so many cute things on Pinterest (my weakness) and would love to make themโฆ one day.

Thank you for sharing these great people to follow Angie!! BTW, I so love your new blog and seems like a lot of effort has been done lately and it is looking amazing!!! Wishing you the best success with blogging and doing what you love!
Love looking at all the different types of quilt designs. Like the sugar stars a lot!
What a great Q and A! Loved getting to know Anorina and looking forward to more of these posts!
….Except Anorina doesn’t sneakily put things on my i-Devices without my permission ๐ Great interview again!
