5. What are you most proud of from your quilting experience?
Being published both online and in Australian publications is one of the things I’m most proud of.
6. What’s the one piece of advice about quilting that all new quilters should know?
Have fun and don’t be afraid to have a go. Don’t over-think it. Grab some fabric and your sewing machine and go forth and create beautiful things. Make things which you love and which make you happy. AND, if your seams don’t nest right at the beginning, don’t worry. You’ll get there with persistence and practice.
7. Who’s the quilter(s) that inspire you at the moment?
I love Emma Jean Jansen and all of her quilts. They’re so fun and fresh. Flying Fish Quilts and Jen Kingwell are also inspirational Aussies with their beautiful designs.
I also love visiting blogs by the two Amy’s : nanaCompany and Chick Chick Sewing. I love their style and everything they make is absolutely beautiful.
