Week 4 of the 9 Patch Parade starts today and we’re sharing our version of the “Nine Patch Triple Sashing and Cornerstone” Pattern by Marti Michell. This pattern is included in the 9 Patch Starter Kit and will be the basis for your entries in this month’s prize pool.

What to do this week in the Parade

Task: Share your finished project.

This pattern is super simple and a great warm up for the next 6 months of nine patch fun. You can use this pattern to inspire your nine patch project.

What I’m doing this week in the Parade

I’ve had to do a quick pivot and change direction with my project for this month as my supplies are caught up in the postal delay due to the impact of the quarantine in China. Oh well, there’s worse things that could be happening then delayed fabrics.

I decided to use the pattern as my template for a cushion I’m making as part of an online swap I joined in January to help raise funds for wildlife impacted by the fires here in Australia. Here’s my finished cushion inspired by the cushion/pillow pattern in the 9 Patch Parade Pattern.
