Link Love: Bed Sores

OMGoodness, I never thought it would be possible to fall out of love with being in bed but I’m there. I’ve spent the last week resting and taking it easy and it’s driving me bonkers. I learnt the hard way that while I might feel great and my wounds look superficial if I do too much it completely wipes me for the next day. On top of all of that I’ve gotten a seasonal sinus cold from being in air-conditioning all the time. I’m not a very good patient. On the upside, my doctor cleared me for driving so at least I’m back on school duties and that’s a little ray of sunshine in my day. (There’s nothing as awesome as picking up someone who’s happy to see you!)

I’ve been laying in bed all week thinking about the things I’m most looking forward to doing in 2019 and high on the list is making a lot of quilts. My work output this year has been so stifled that I’m dreaming of being able to pump out heaps of quilts. We need more in the house and I want to make gifting of quilts a priority this year. I’d also really love a studio hand. Someone who can come in and help with the cutting, the stitching and the finishing. So, basically I want some elves like the Cobbler had!

It’s now December and that means, CHRISTMAS! I love this time of year. I’m not going to lie, I’ve watched a LOT of Christmas movies on Netflix in the past week. I love the traditions of Christmas, the decorating, the gift giving and the eating of many, many, Christmas goodies. But before I can really indulge in all of that I need to get back to bed. Wishing you a week filled with love, laughter and much fabric fondling!
