Link Love: One Week Down

School started last week and it’s been wonderful for all of us. I’m loving being able to work guilt-free and uninterrupted and he’s loving being back with his friends having fun and learning new things. The arm in a sling has been causing some frustration as he wants to run and play with everyone but we’re working out how to strike a happy balance there.

I had a great week last week. I haven’t been this productive and I don’t know how long and it feels great. In fact, my entire mood and outlook feels like it’s done a 360 in the past couple of months. I’m back in regular fellowship, I’m taking time to nourish my relationships and I’ve given up trying to “do it all”. Now I’m doing the top 3 things and being smug happy with getting those done.

My health has improved so much since the hysterectomy, it’s been amazing. The next thing on my hit list is eating and exercise. The past 12 months of inactivity have seen my weight balloon and I need to make changes and get back on the exercise wagon. Both things are achievable one little step at a time.

This week I’ve got a full dance card with working out how to do video for the blog and live events. I’ve got SO much sewing to do, not to mention appointments with printers and working out the final details for some big ticket items that are happening this week. It’s all systems go and I love it! Wishing you a week filled with love, laughter and much fabric fondling!

  2. So good to hear how much better you are feeling. Imagine how much better you’ll feel when putting a little exercise in your day. Hate starting an exercise program but it sure feels amazing once I get in the rhythm of it. Am considering your Scrappy Trips SAL. Have a great week!
