MEET PENNYDOG PATCHWORK
A Bit of Fun:
If you could only have one or the other for the rest of eternity what would you choose?
1. Fabric: Solid or Pattern?
Pattern – Got to be every time, I cannot bear to do a solids only quilt I would find that so incredibly boring. Plus patterns add dimension to pictorial quilts I think.
2. Quilt Styles: Pattern or Improv?
Pattern- my improv always comes out a bit small and strange looking.
3. Seams: Open or to the Side?
Usually to the side, but open if it’s a long one to reduce bulk.
4. Stitching: Hand or Machine?
Machine!
5. Binding: Hand or Machine?
Hand… but hopefully not for much longer when I get better at machine.
6. Food: Sweet or Savoury?
Both- sweet and salty popcorn mixed together. Yes.
7. Entertainment: Books or Music?
Books because I am not up to date with yoof music these days; I am pushing thirty. I actually have a reading list on my blog but I’ve been a bit lax with it recently as I’ve been playing a lot of 3DS at lunchtimes at work….
8. Entertainment: Television or Movies?
Television! Dipping in and out of a series is the best thing for my short attention span. My list is currently Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Orange is the New Black (just finished it), Arrested Development, New Girl, 24, 2 Broke Girls, Big Bang Theory and the Great British Bake Off. I loved Breaking Bad while that lasted so I am interested to see what Better Call Saul will be like when it gets over here.
9. Computer: Mac or Windows?
Mac when I can afford one (I use one all the time at work).
10. Drink: Coke or Pepsi?
Whichever is on offer at the supermarket. And the sugar free variety, though I do like a regular maximum tooth rot Coke as a treat every now and then. P.S. What in the name of love is that green “Life” version about?

I’m back and I love you!
I love reading interviews. I don’t understand quilting terms but I do love seeing the finished product. I especially love the last quilt of the dog with an open mouth!
I’m like that with most things in life – I don’t understand it, but I just like looking at all the pretty 🙂
I’ve been following Kerry for awhile – I love her greyhound quilt, and her greyhound pics and stories. I’m also super in love with her new dog Hank!
She’s fabulous, isn’t she??! I’m looking forward to hearing all about her latest wedding related adventures!
Great interview – I loved Billy bass too but my favourite has to be the greyhounds quilt. Gorgeous.
I love them too – I just love Kerry’s applique technique. One day I’ll make a quilt inspired by her awesomeness.
