What’s in the box? May’s #SewSampler

I cannot believe that it’s that time of the month already and the latest Sew Sampler box from Fat Quarter Shop has arrived on my doorstep. I’ve got to say, this month’s selection made a hefty thud on my sewing table when they spilled forth from their tissue paper. It’s a weighty box! It seems Fat Quarter Shop have decided to kick it up a notch with this month’s box of goodies.
I wrote a detailed review of the Sew Sampler box last month, so if you’d like to hear my thoughts on it click here. This month I’m just going to share with you what came in the box… you ready?

This month’s Sew Sampler contains the following:
- Two Cozy Christmas 5″ Stackers – Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet for Riley Blake Fabrics
- Bobbini Bobbin Holder – Smartneedle
- Sew Easy Tweezers
- Two Spools of Aurifil Thread
- Exclusive Cozy Holiday Tablerunner Pattern – Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet (This item was created specifically for this Sew Sampler box and is not available for purchase.)
- BONUS! Cute Little Buttons by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet
You’ll also find a quilt block recipe pattern in your box for 8″, 12″ and 16″ blocks. This month Fat Quarter Shop have featured Bella Solids Petunia, sew pretty in pink!

I must confess it felt like such a luxury to get 2 charm packs and 2 spools of Aurifil – which is just the feeling you want to get from a mystery supplies box. I also really enjoyed the inclusion of a colouring page which you could use as patterns to make embroidery transfers from some slow stitching.
It’s not too late to join the Sew Sampler experience. Find out more about how to get a little slice of Fat Quarter Shop heaven in your mail box each month by clicking here.
