It’s the final day of the Dilly Bag-a-Long and I can’t believe we’ve made it this far in such a short period of time. There’s been some amazing Dilly Bags shared on Instagram (check out the #dillybagalong hashtag) and in The Fussy Cutters Club Facebook Group.

I finished my Dilly Bag just in time to get some photos of it in the sunshine (where did all that rain come from???) and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

I made it for a very good friend who’s birthday I missed being organised for (but I’m hoping they’ll forgive me when they see this beauty). Her favourite colour is green and so I decided to do the bag in all greens from my stash.

I had fun fussy cutting details out of the fabrics, like this cute little mouse on a bike.

Or this family of foxes (which I like to think represents my friend and her 2 children).

I snuck some vegetables in there as well as a nod to the fact that I don’t eat enough greens (or any other vegetable colours) and I always think of her when I add vegetables to our meals.

I had so much trouble finding cord that matched so in the end I went with a pop of pink and put little tabs of green spots on the ends to keep them from pulling through.

I love how the top look when opened – all those nice ruffles.

It’s such a fun bag and holds so much I just know I’ll be making more versions of these in the future. (I have been dreaming of a rainbow line up of them!)

But enough about what I made, let’s get to the good stuff and see what everyone else made!
