Link Love: Unexpected Absence
It’s been a tough couple of weeks in our home. My Nana, who’s responsible for me starting to sew, has had failing health and so the Little Man and I took the opportunity to fly home to see her. It was great to be able to have that time with her and I’m thankful to the Lord for providing us with the means to go home.
It’s the blessing of being able to work for myself, I can work around emergencies and be there for my family as they need. I try very hard not to take that for granted. The next few weeks are going to be emotionally hard for us as a family – but the good thing about that is that it means we’ve got love and are loved.
I hope that you too have that kind of love in your life. Wishing you a week filled with love, laughter and much fabric fondling!
Did you know that my parents make handcrafted timber lures? Well they do! They’ve been in the fishing lure business for nearly my entire life, which is quite an an achievement given that my Nan thinks I’m “pushing 50”! (I’m 42!)
