MEET CAT & VEE
What creative challenges would you like to conquer in the next 12 months.
Apart from finally finishing quilts for my girls – theyโre improv, full of words, and are taking a long time! – Iโd really like to carve out some time to get serious about fabric and pattern design.
Whatโs your 3 favourite creative projects that youโve made that reflect who you are as a textile artist/quilter?
My favourite sewing-technique is fussy-cutting – I love to highlight great designs, and to make them relevant to whatever Iโm making or for whom Iโm making it – so based on that, Iโm thinking Iโll say my Red Letter Day quilt, my @sewtakeahike undies drawstring bags and Iโm already loving my Nested Churn Dash quilt, even though Iโve only sewn two blocks.
If you werenโt a textile artist/quilter, what other creative endeavour would you like to master?
If I can ever actually learn to crochet, that would be awesome. Our friend Stasia (@tinsimink) has very patiently tried to teach us a couple of times, but I just canโt manage to keep that knowledge in my head.
Is there anything else that you would like to share with my readers?
Weโre both thinking itโs pretty awesome to be featured on your blog!

Thanks for such a cool feature on my two favorite Aussie ladies!
Wahoo Angie. You are a bloody brilliant woman to have taken the time and interest to share us with your readers.
