{SPONSORED} Fat Quarter Shop Delectable Mountains Quilt

Last year I set up a swap for the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew-along and my lovely partner likes blue and orange and so I thought this great pattern pattern from Fat Quarter Shop would make the perfect mini quilt to send to my partner as my optional inclusion. I used 4 of the quilt blocks and alternated fabric placement to give it a bit of impact. I used the same print from Lizzy House’ “The Lovely Hunt” in two colours to again add interest (and because I just adore this print and this blue and orange is the perfect shade).
I’m really happy with how it’s turning out. I still need to quilt and bind it, so I’m having a bit of a pause as I think about how I’ll do it. (I wish I was more confident with alternating fabric in my binding because I know just how I’d do it!) This is another great pattern that has a lot of area to show off your favourite prints. It’s also a great one for those that are proficient in the black art of free motion quilting.
You can purchase the pattern by clicking here. And of course there’s another great video tutorial that shows you how to make the block used in this quilt.
I’m not the only one sharing their version of the Delectable Mountains Quilt, check out the following amazing bloggers sharing theirs:

Did I misinterpret the swap? I thought the patterns had to be from the book for the swap.
No, that is correct, but I also said that you could include other items if you wanted to and this is my inclusion.
