Link Love: Say Goodbye to September

It’s school holidays! Which is fantabulous because it means the Little Man is home with me for two weeks. Great for the cuddle quotient, not so great for the productivity but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. We’ve got 3 weeks to go until we’re off to Houston and Disneyland and so these school holidays are going to be pretty light on in the activity department. Not such a big deal cause the lad likes to stay home, but I always feel guilty that I’m not doing enough to grow his mind. Although, at this time of year I suspect it’s more important to have a proper break and recharge for the final term of school then cram in learning to every waking moment.

My pre-trip to-do list is MASSIVE. I’ve got so much sewing and writing to do before we leave for Houston it’s ridiculous. Lucky for me I’m really feeling my groove at the moment. I’ve been going to the pool 5 days a week for the past month and it’s really helped put a spring in my step. I feel like I’ve been really productive lately. I spent most of 2018 avoiding things and dealing with health issues and so it’s really great to be getting some focus and enjoyment back. (I credit it all with returning to regular fellowship and the Lord working his abundant grace in my life!)

In other news, I’ve got a bit of a family thing to share this week; My uncle is riding 1,000km to raise funds for fighting Children’s Cancer.
